Guest Spot - Nat Kalbach - Be Happy With Who You Are and Where You Are Won’t Matter

I’m a European Mixed Media Artist. I am living my dream creating and teaching in and out of my n*Studio. My layered work is an explosion of texture, dimension and jewel tone colors.
Jestem europejską artystką mixedmediową. Żyję moim marzeniem o kreowaniu i uczeniu w oraz poza moim n*Studio. Moje warstwowe prace eksplodują teksturami, wymiarowością i kolorami.

I believe that everyone can be creative. On my blog I share my art work, talk a little bit about my life as an artist, show free tutorials, teach workshops, tell you about my favorite supplies and give you inspiration to free your own creativity.

Be Happy With Who You Are and Where You Are Won’t Matter

I love this saying- and with my move to the U.S. it totally had to be part of my art journal. Drycha from 3rdeycraft.com had sent me some of her amazing little stamps and chipboard embellishment to play with and I had a great time using the rib cage stamp and the heart stamp as well as the chipboard heart. I love anatomical stamps- I know some people find them scary – but hey…it is part of our body :)

Bardzo lubię to powiedzenie - musiało towarzyszyć mojej przeprowadzce do Ameryki. Drycha z 3rdEyeCraft.com wysłała mi parę z jej cudownych stempli i tekturek do zabawy, dobrze się bawiłam z wzorem klatki piersiowej, sercem anatomicznym i pasującą do niego tekturką.

I had sprayed one of the chipboard hearts and then stamped over it with the heart stamp and placed it  into the rib cage. And if that is too graphic…I also did a small little thank you card cutting out a heart of book paper and placing a light bulb chippie stamped with a lightbulb inside.

I teach online and in-person workshops. In my workshops I share my secrets for using paint and ink to reveal texture, show you many options on how to make the most of your supplies, give tips for embedding found objects and show how to unlock your personal creativity. I have taught in-person workshops all over the world and meeting my students is always the biggest highlight for me.

Currently I am moving from Germany to the United States. If you want to know more about me- check out my F.A.Q (Frequently Asked Questions)

Obecnie jestem w trakcie przeprowadzki z Niemiec do Ameryki. Jeśli chcesz się dowiedzieć o mnie więcej, zapraszam do F.A.Q.

  3. I like both your interpretations of the heart theme! But all in all, my favourite is the journal spread with the anatomical stamps! I'm just waiting to get my Anatomical Heart stamp so it's cool to see ways to use it. I also love the way you have poured the paint and let it bleed down. Really cool colours!
